What to watch on TV tonight: Tuesday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Me and My Guide Dog (UTV Ireland, 8pm)

This two-part documentary follows a litter of ten puppies as they grow and train to be guide dogs. At just a few weeks old, they’re put through a series of tests to see if they have what it takes, before being handed over to their volunteer ‘puppy parents’. Aw.

Grey’s Anatomy (RTÉ2, 9pm)

In the latest episode, yet another plane crash rocks Seattle and the staff of Grey-Sloane Memorial are forced to deal with some bad memories. #greysanatomy

Empire (E4, 9pm)

The delightfully campy US drama continues tonight with Lucious trying to brand Empire Entertainment as a family-run company, despite the drama behind the scenes. Courtney Love guest stars as singer Elle Dallas. #empire

Everybody’s talking about: Clint Eastwood

2015 Spike TV's Guys Choice Awards - Show Associated Press Associated Press

The veteran actor made a ‘joke’ about Caitlyn Jenner at a US awards ceremony that was subsequently cut from the broadcast. The ceremony in question, Spike TV’s Guys’ Choice Awards, has been advertised as “unfiltered” and “unpredictable”, but oh well.

As for the joke? Eastwood compared The Rock to other athletes who had gone on to have careers in acting, “Jim Brown and Caitlyn Somebody”. Apparently, the audience didn’t like it. *shrug*
